Rachel Afshari – Co-owner
Rachel grew up on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fare and developed an interest in the importance of food systems and a plant-based diet. while studying biology at the University of Massachusetts. Rachel handles all of our day-to-day operations. Rachel grew up on the fresh Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fare and developed an interest in the importance of food systems while studying biology at the University of Massachusetts. She’s inspired every day by serving healthy breakfasts, lunches, and beyond to Nantucket. With her sense of community and sensitivity to the environment, she’s spearheaded a community compost and garden at the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club, educating kids on Nantucket on what she’s most passionate about.
Taylor Minore – Manager
As manager of Lemon Press, Taylor oversees the front of house operations, she loves connecting with every customers, regulars and one-timers alike. She finds inspiration for her work at Lemon Press in many of her favorite places, especially the coffee and tea experienced while traveling through Thailand, Italy, Israel and Bali. She makes Lemon Press a place where people feel comfortable to ask questions, try new things and have a memorable experience.
